Each of the basswood ornaments is hand-carved, painted and signed by  Gary M. Starr and each ornament is branded on the back and identified by name and year made. The Canvasback, Prothonotary Warbler, Steller's Jay, and White Breasted Nuthatch were new for 2007. I am currently working on the 2008 ornament selections.
